The regional secretary of the PSRM, Rafael González Tovar, today expressed the "strong commitment" of his party from the University of Murcia and discussed the need for the revitalization of the Board of this educational institution.
González Tovar has made these statements in the building of convalescence, home of the Chancellor of the University, on the occasion of the meeting with the rector, José Orihuela.
Socialist regional secretary has also indicated that more precise means University and that when implementing new qualifications should think about it, "not only in the UCAM, with the connivance of the regional government."
On the other hand, has said that we need a policy to support research and the transfer of the results thereof, the latter task in which Social Council's role is key.
Along with Gonzalez Tovar were present at the meeting party president and university professor, Alberto Requena, and general secretary of the Socialist Youth in the Region, Inma Sánchez, together with the Vice Chancellor of Communication and Culture, José Antonio Gómez.
