Professors of the University of Murcia review the oral health of more than 150 Sahrawi children (16/07/2014)

A team of faculty dentists and recent graduates of the University of Murcia performs oral exams these days the more than 150 Saharawi children are spending the summer months in the region Murcia welcomed by families.

The group of professionals, coordinated by Professor José Luis Calvo Guirado, holding each child requiring treatment: filling cavities and tooth sealing in most cases, but also tooth extractions.

Today, Wednesday, it was the turn of the revisions to the children of Alhama, Totana Yecla, Lorca, Cieza and Sewer, which have been visited in the Hospital Morales Meseguer by the rector of the University, José Orihuela.

Previously, treatment of eighty children Murcia and Cartagena was applied, resulting in fifty grooves sealed as a precautionary measure, and ten thirty fillings extractions.
