New baby deer and deer begin to populate Terra Natura Murcia (14/07/2014)

The animal park and Terra Natura Murcia celebrates nature during these weeks the birth of new baby fallow deer (Dama dama) and red deer (Cervus elaphus).

Two copies of fallow deer and one of the first to have been born, although it is expected that the coming days will reach double the number of new breeds of these species.

After about eight months of gestation these two species living in the park have begun to welcome the new babies.

These births are now seven specimens of each species are born in Murcia exhibition since its opening and a total of 15 deer and 11 deer.

Terra Natura Murcia has its facilities with fallow deer, and roe deer, three deer species inhabiting the Iberian Peninsula.

Deer and deer antlers are characterized by crowning their males in the first case shaped palm and numerous points in the second.

The young of both species are distinguished by their spotted coat, which park visitors can see in newborns.

Deer are deer and game species, prized by hunters spread abundantly throughout the country and the rest of Europe.

Terra Natura Murcia has a female albino deer, a copy of which is difficult to find in the wild.
