The Body of the Local Police Murcia is, from today, Knight of the Royal Brotherhood of the Knights of Our Lady of Fuensanta.

The Brotherhood of Knights of the Fuensanta purpose is to conduct social and charitable works, and encourage and promote the cult and devotion to the Virgin of Fuensanta, Patroness of Murcia.
Its history dates back to 1808, when the difficult times of occupation gala brought out the qualities of Knight: man who behaves nobly and generously vassal fulfilling a duty to God, to the Virgin and to the King Fuensanta who is willing to fight to defend their country and their religion.
As recalled in the Web page of the brotherhood, from the definitive establishment of the Jesuits in the church-convent of Santo Domingo in June 1886 were forming in her womb the Marian congregations and one of them took as invocation to the Virgin of Fuensanta, was called Knights of the Congregation of Fuensanta.

In this new stage Brotherhood Knight tries to carry out a commitment to society, while promoting the devotion to Our Lady of Fuensanta.
