The Catholic University of Murcia hosts this week at the World Conference Cineantropometría, an event that will feature renowned experts from Mexico, Portugal, Argentina, United States and Brazil

From 10 to 12 July, the Los Jeronimos Campus of the Catholic University of Murcia will host the World Conference on Cineantropometría, an event that will bring together more than two hundred congressmen from twenty countries to share with students and their assistants knowledge of the science of measuring the values ​​of the human body.
Speakers include experts such as Jose Ramon Alvero, School of Sports Medicine, University of Málaga;
Luis Bettencourt, Technical University of Lisbon;
Francis Holway, nutritionist Argentine team River Plate football;
Robert Malina, doctor doctor in physical education and anthropology and professor emeritus at the University of Texas;
and Francisco Esparza, director of the Department of Traumatology of the UCAM, who also was responsible for the organization by the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK).
"We are pleased with the significant assistance we hope for Congress," said Esparza own.
"The event is very important.'ll Be the only time that is held in the Region of Murcia, and most likely in Spain.'s Kinanthropometry is a very small section within medicine, but is very significant because it allows to know in depth the different measurements of the human body, "he explains.
The conference will begin on Thursday, July 10 at 8:30 am with a panel discussion on kinanthropometry and sport disciplines essentially monopolized the acts of the day.
Health will be the protagonist on Friday, while Saturday will be the turn of nutrition and aspects of kinanthropometry brought to it.
