In order to arouse interest in technology and innovation among young people, the Catholic University of Murcia and SICARM organized the conference 'UCAM Smart Campus', an event where entrepreneurs and major national and international experts in Google Glass, development of apps, virtual reality and 3D printing and scanning share their knowledge.

The conference starts today Monday, July 7 at 10:00 am with the opening table, composed of Estrella Nunez, rector of Research San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia;

Rafael Melendreras, Associate Dean of Engineering Degree in Telecommunication Systems;

and Miriam Pérez, CEO of Heritage, Information Technology and Telecommunications.

After opening the conference 'Google Glass: the first 365 days "will be held by Javier Pita CEO Neosistec;

and then there will be the presentation "Arduino - connected to creativity Technology" with Pablo Murillo, head of Training and CEO of 3D Sicnova Arduteka.

In addition, on Wednesday, July 9 (11:45 h), Jere Erkko, Vice President, Latin America for Rovio Entertainment Ltd., developer of Angry Birds will be in the UCAM to impart his lecture, entitled "Ingredients of Successful Aplicativos".

Meanwhile, researchers at the University will present on Thursday, July 10 to convert your project Campus Los Jerónimos in a 'smart campus' or smart campus.

Workshops

During each evening of 'UCAM Smart Campus' in hours from 16:00 h to 20:00 h, four workshops will be held concurrently at the Catholic University of Murcia, for which he will spend a hundred students from schools in secondary education and VET Region of Murcia, in addition to the Professional Schools of Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering.
