The Department of Culture offers numerous activities for Murcia and visitors who spend the nights on the town.
From the contest Tunas del Barrio del Carmen, held from 10 to 14 July to concerts in the main squares of the city, besides the cinema and VIII Summer Festival Flamenco Sucina.
Concerts in the streets of Las Flores, San Juan, La Cruz and Romea and cinema houses in Murcia Park are a good alternative to enjoy Murcia in the coming weeks.
For Tuesday July 8 at the Place de la Cruz, in the cycle "A whole gang" is scheduled performance of the musical group Youth "The Muses" of Guadalupe, with works by Chueca, Turina and Perez Prado.

Led by Tony Beteta and genius of Angel Valdegrama transport you to the world of Boleros, bringing them closer to the classics and creating a warm and special atmosphere for your dinner.
A total of 14 tunas from Spain, Mexico and Chile participating in the XVIII edition of the International Contest of Tunas "Barrio del Carmen", which will be held on 10, 11 and 12 July at the Artillery Barracks.
The Tunas contest, organized by the University of Murcia Tuna District-1912 and sponsored by the City and the University of Murcia, El Corte Inglés, Estrella Levante, Bodegas Juan Gil, Cajamurcia and Coca-Cola Foundation, not only will the music at this venue but its participants, about 400 rounds and will parade through the city streets inviting Murcia to join this great event.
Admission is free and all nights will be free tastings.

Within 47 FOLKLORE FESTIVAL IN THE MEDITERRANEAN, from 14 to 18 July musical performances will be held in the Plaza de Belluga, to 22 hours.
Moreover, "From Flamenco will" be held from 15 to 20 July, with the most renowned singers of the national scene.
Young artists of great projection participate in the eighth edition of Sucina Flamenco Festival, organized by the Peña Flamenca Sucina Culture Association in collaboration with the Department of Culture.
The performances will take place outdoors, on the esplanade in front of the Civic Center from 15 to 20 July.
