Councilman IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, today denounced the state of contamination of the Santa Eulalia district, specific street Mariano Vergara, wearing "several days without cleaning and the remains are still there" .
Tornel explained that traders and locals suffer from dirt, and has indicated that the Department of Urban Quality who is responsible for cleaning because of Cleanliness "refuses" to do so and remove graffiti.
"A neighborhood like Santa Eulalia, which DEBRIA modeling and focus for tourists, visitors and citizens of Murcia, meets a number of conditions of scarcity cleaning is not acceptable," added the mayor.
In his view, the fact is even more reportable if one considers that the concessionaire receives street cleaning municipal coffers over 51 million euros per year.
Also Tornel demanded the mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, take "serious" immediate measures "since this is not the first time denounced a situation like this and have not seen any reaction to it."
