On the occasion of commemoration of Europe, and in order to continue the spread of the European Union among schoolchildren in the municipality of Murcia started with the "European 2.0: Europe in schools" project, the city of Murcia, through European Programmes Service, launched the "The European Union competition.
Creating Opportunities for All ", with which stimulate among schoolchildren and adults learning English and knowledge of the EU.
The competition has been to record a video for a maximum of two minutes in English in relation to the various opportunities created by EU membership.
Councillors European Programmes and Education, José María Tortosa and María Dolores Sánchez, today presented awards to five winners, after viewing the various works done and winners.
The objective of this competition is to stimulate among high school students learning English, knowledge of the opportunities created by the EU and the approach to new technologies.
The competition was a step closer to the project "European 2.0: Europe in schools" designed to bring the idea of ​​Europe and its institutions to schoolchildren in the municipality of Murcia.
Prizes established by categories, for each of the winners, are a high definition tablet and an intensive English course ten hours.
