Show the scientific knowledge to citizens leaving traditional broadcast environments is the aim of the series of lectures "I + D + c, Research + Outreach + Reeds", which has organized the Association of Young Researchers from the University of Murcia (AJIUM ).
"It is a commitment to explaining science in a simple, informal and relaxed through lectures in bars so" explains Felix AJIUM member Picazo, a researcher in the Department of Ecology and Hydrology Murcia educational institution.
The talks, covering different fields of knowledge, will be held every Tuesday at 20:30 pm between South Ithaca Bar and cafe.
The first will be this evening, the 24th, on the Ithaca café where Ecology researcher Delphine Rocklin, semifinalist in the competition for scientific monologues FameLab, will discuss "Adventures, tragedy and heroism at sea: the fabulous bizarre fish life ".
The next will be held on July 1, when Marta Alonso, Department of Plant Biology, will give a talk entitled "Understanding Biodiversity: how and why" in the Southern bar.
On July 8, Manolo Castilian, Department of Otolaryngology, will deliver the lecture "How our augers work. Music, voice and sound in our inner ear."
It will be in Ithaca.
"Rome. Word of a Woman" is the title of the talk will provide the researcher at the Department of Classical Philology Lourdes Raya, El Sur, July 15.
The final will be on July 22 and will be borne by Marisa Arce, Department of Ecology and Hydrology, who will talk about the "self-cleaning capacity of the water in rivers: importance of conservation."
