. On Wednesday June 25, 2014, at 18.30, LAII Business Day will be held and Disability: Inclusion and Illusion in the auditorium of the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM).
This conference is aimed at HR managers and entrepreneurs in the Region of Murcia, employment professionals, foundations and associations related to intellectual disability.
It will feature the participation of employers in the region, job coaches and students Capacitas Program, which will have experience in companies in which they have conducted their training practices during the 2013-2014 school year.
The conference, inaugurated by the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, with the participation of the director of the Chair, Maria del Mar Pintado and Vice President of the Foundation Gmp, Antonio Montoro.
The Capacitas Program, which emerged two years ago in the heart of the German Chair Montoro, offers people with intellectual disabilities the very title of the Technical University in Business and Socio activities and the possibility of normally inserted in the workplace.
The objectives of this program, which runs for two academic years and includes a quarter of work experience in companies from different sectors, are the awareness of employers and job prospecting.
The program has qualified in the fields of pedagogy and psychology, along with job coaches teachers.

Students in this first class of Capacitas Program, twelve in all, have done internships in collaboration with Fundown, PEEM and Astrapace in Mesa del Castillo Hospital, the city of Murcia, Novotel, Bankinter, Eulen Cartagena, El Mirador Infant School , yen PETER schools, Santa María del Carmen and San Vicente de Paul, and the Catholic University of Murcia itself.
