The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, spoke this morning at the opening of the First International Congress of Gerontology "Aging in the Twenty-first Century", organized by the Association Golden Age Messengers of Peace Murcia.

In addition to the Mayor, participated in the inauguration Father Angel Garcia Rodriguez, founder of Messengers of Peace, the Government Commissioner, Joaquín Bascuñana, the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, Catherine Lawrence, and the manager of the Association Golden Age Messengers Peace Murcia, Agustín García Belzunce.
Sister Antonia has received the Dove of Peace and a plaque in recognition of his long history of supporting the elderly.
