Cultural Centers Espinardo, Bacons Bridge, and James and the Rane Zaraiche organized a joint exhibition of paintings under the name "Self Portrait: Beyond the Mirror" in the Real Casino de Murcia, which will open on Tuesday June 17 at 20.00.

Prior to this inauguration a performance takes place in the street Tatters, with accordions, percussion and outdoor painters of Parisian style Montmartre.

Since October 2013, within the current 2013/14, in the paint shops of Cultural Centers Espinardo, Bacons Bridge, and James and the Rane Zaraiche, has been working on self-portrait.

This training project is completed with various activities such as a traveling exhibition of the work done in workshops and a round table.

Painting is one of the most important formative deals offered cultural centers.

With more than fifty drawing and painting workshops in schools from the beginning of its existence, the Department directed by Rafael Gomez has decided to devote special attention to work that has been under development for more than three decades.

The profile of participants in a workshop drawing and painting is very varied, but almost all of them women predominate over men, older people about young people and all of them there is the motivation to learn to paint, as well as a pending either because the paint allows the expression of complex shape in less learning than writing or music.

For several years, in cultural centers Espinardo, Bacons Bridge, Santiago and Zaraiche and the Rane, hand painting professor, ceramics and fine arts graduate, Veronica Maccorin, has been undergoing a process of transformation in both the methodology of the teaching-learning process and in the subject to paint.
