Two elementary students have been prize winners of the "I can also be united" under 2014. This experience set up by the Department of Social Welfare shows that it is essential to work with younger values ​​such as solidarity and mutual support in everyday life.
This year has conducted a pilot aimed at children of 1st and 2nd Primary, has been carried out in 10 CEIP, and her 587 students have participated.
The contest winner was Agnes Marques Clares of 1 Primary CEIP Algezares Saavedra Fajardo.
The prize consists of four tickets for a children's show for the winning student and a tour for the whole class (Sea World Benidorm).
The second prize went to Lucia Navarro Garcia, 2nd Primary CEIP San José de la Montaña Sangonera la Seca.

The Volunteer Bureau of Municipal Social Services Centre "Murcia Sur" from the Department of Social Welfare and Health has been developing since 2000 a number of activities to raise awareness and promote solidarity and volunteerism.
Annually, awareness campaigns carried solidarity values ​​primarily intended for children under the slogan: "I can also be Solidario".
Following the success of previous campaigns to schools in the area in 2014 was performed for the first time, an awareness campaign for the promotion of solidarity aimed at children of 1st and 2nd grade, under the slogan: "I I can also be Solidario ".
In this sense it has published a story written by the members of the Office of Volunteerism, professionals and volunteers, fully adapted to the population to which it is addressed, where the student interacts and is involved in the dynamics of the campaign.
This work has been developed within the framework of primary schools, and is structured from the perspective of an active and participatory methodology.
Thus, in a single session, two social educators have worked with students in each class, the content of the Story "I can also be Solidario".
In it are developed very basics Solidarity types of joint actions;
have worked adhesive compositions forming solidarity actions;
free drawings and drawings on solidarity issues addressed coloring;
have teamed up with their peers and have finally read a story that promotes solidarity values.
At the end of the story a space was left for the students could participate in a drawing competition, which could be carried out with their families outside the classroom.
On receipt of the drawings, the jury of experts from the Department of Social Welfare and Health, has selected the two winning drawings.
