Murcia City Council has awarded maintenance and improvement in fifteen schools to be held during the summer months.
The planned investment exceeds 313,000 euros.
Schools that will benefit are: Los Rosales (El Palmar), Pérez Urruti (Churra), San Juan (Murcia), Maestro Enrique Laborde (Dolores), José María Párraga (El Palmar), Carolina Codorniu Bosch (Churra) Monteazahar (Beniaján), Holy Angel (Holy Angel), Our Lady of Fuensanta (Beniaján), Pablo Gil Castillo (Sangonera la Seca), San Jose de la Montana (Sangonera la Seca), Arteaga (Sucina), Mariano Aroca (Murcia) , La Cruz (El Esparragal) and John XXIII (Monteagudo).
Among the works to be performed pavement replacement, repairs in the woodwork, fix cracks on walls, cleaning of downspouts and roofing, waterproofing work, exterior and interior painting, repairing steps, carpentry repair is metal, works in the sewer network, installation of non-slip strips on pavement and steps, fencing repairs, stormwater system improvement and repair coating walls and baseboards.
At school Monteazahar (Beniaján) that exists in the steps subsequent access will be demolished and built a new one.
The CEIP Mariano Aroca (Murcia) toilets were constructed in Halls D, 6 and 7. CEIP Maestro Enrique In Laborde (Dolores) improvements will be made in the courtyards and skylights that are damaged will be replaced.
The CEIP Arteaga (Murcia) the well is replaced sanitation.
