Once again, the Department of Culture has designed an extensive program of activities for the months of school holidays.
In total, 1,245 children born between 2002 and 2007, may enroll in one of 24 summer school to be held in neighborhoods and districts of the municipality and to be held from June 30 to July 11 from 10am to 13 hours .
Of these, six (El Carmen, Sangonera la Seca, El Esparragal Zarandona, San Pio X and Cobatillas), organized jointly with the Department of Social Welfare and Health, and the field of artistic work with CEPAIM Beniaján.
In addition, the Department of Education and Sports collaborate giving space to carry out the various activities.
This year, the summer schools have as a common theme the film, arranging for all children attending a series of workshops on the subject, and a unique program in the field of Artistic Work Beniaján where workshops will be developed and rock music modern, theatrical and comic.
Other common contents of the Summer School program will include activities related to theater, visual arts, music, sports, cooking, popular games ... also have included trips to El Valle, ice skating in Elche and visits to museums, swimming pools ...
Of the 1,245 offered 385 seats serve a holistic approach working with the Department of Social Welfare and Health.
Registrations can be made from 10 to 13 June in each of the centers, in schedule 17 to 21 hours.
The draw will take seats on June 20 and the admission list will be published on June 25.
The Council aims with this summer program of activities the following objectives:
1 -. Enabling alternative embodiment of leisure activities in the spare time of children during the summer.
2 -. Encourage attitudes of tolerance and solidarity among children.
. 3 - Facilitate through the activities, participation, exchange and collaboration among children.
4 -. Favour technical workshops and activities that can be applied later in the summer activities.
. 5 - Promote the recreational aspects of the activities.
. 6 - Meet the film world through various films and activities from within while we play, create and have fun.

Of note, within the panorama of summer activities in the Department of Culture, Arts Field Work in the hamlet of Beniaján, CEPAIM organized, and the musical group and the Auditorium of the parish.
For this school have been chosen materials and content Theater Workshop, modern music and Rock and Comic Workshop in tune with young audiences.
15 places for each workshop will be offered to a total of 45, each focusing on a specialty, with prestigious monitors.
Events take place at The Station Beniaján, a unique cultural building restored from the railway building.
Expected to contribute to the educational level, it has outstanding monitors
- Theatre Workshop: Socio-Cultural Initiatives Synesthesia: Juan José Alcaraz and Israel López Marín Marín.
- Workshop and Modern Rock Music: Vicen Caracia, Bassist in Music Ecsuela Beniaján, Leonardo Jun, guitarist, Alberto Rodríguez, Director of the School of Music and Carolina Beniaján Reymundo, vocalist.
- Comic Workshop, taught by Salvador Espin, artist and contributor to Marvel Comics since 2007.
This school will run from 1 to 11 July for kids between 12 and 16 years.
Must enroll in Beniaján Auditorium, from 10 to 14 June 10 to 14 and 16 to 20 hours.
