The City of Murcia gets financing for investment 2.5% (30/05/2014)

Murcia City Council already has the necessary funding to carry out the investments budgeted for 2014.

The Councillor of Finance, Isabel Martinez Conesa, met this morning with representatives of the bank CajaMar to sign the loan of 26 million euros, with which the city of Murcia obtains the necessary financing for the investments planned for this year and very good conditions, namely 2.5%.

Martínez Conesa has welcomed, as "it has managed to get a loan to very good condition."

Murcia City Council has received offers five times the quantity, which shows that, according to the Minister of Economy and Finance, the financial market recognizes the solvency of the City of Murcia well to show that we are good payers.

With this loan, the city of Murcia can make investments this year such as:

- Rehabilitation of the artillery barracks room doors and Castilla,

- Investments in doctors' offices,

- Repairs in social housing

- Rehabilitation of cultural centers,

- Reforms, equipment, machinery and new furniture in social care homes,

- Repairs in schools,

- Paving of driveways, sidewalks, new lighting, etc..

in neighborhoods and districts,

- Rehabilitation and improvements in the squares of supplies,

- Construction of a football field 7

- Replacement of equipment in sports,
