'King Ubu' wins Creajoven Performing Arts (30/05/2014)

'King Ubu' by Alfred Jarry (version Gelen Marín) La Trupe, Irreverent Theatre has won the Creajoven Performing Arts, to be awarded a prize of 1,500 euros.

The second prize went to the dance 'found' CIA Somoscomas, with a prize of 800 euros;

and the third prize of 500 euros, went to the circus performance 'UpArte' of UpArte.

At the end of the Performing Arts Creajoven six groups, which have submitted their work this week at the Center Párraga have arrived.

The jury was chaired by the Councillor for Sports, Youth and Tourism, Miguel Cascales, and formed by Mariso García, Juan Antonio Saorín, Juan Pablo Soler, Luisma Soriano and Juan Albaladejo, as secretary.

King Ubu is a scenic view of a world full of corruption and abuse of power, which is represented over a hundred years after its premiere at the ThéÃ¢tre de L'Oeuvre de Paris.
