In the afternoon yesterday, Thursday, the exhibition opened its doors "Bloodline" which shows the artistic heritage of the Confraternity of the Blood of Murcia on the premises of the Hammer, the building annexed to the Episcopal Palace, which until January 2015 gives the Diocese of Cartagena this archicofradía.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Bishop of Cartagena, Bishop Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, who accompanied President and Blood, D. Carlos Valcárcel, and all 'coloraos'.
The exhibition curator, Pedro Alberto Cruz, guided the audience through the various rooms explaining each of the sculptural.
Also present at the inauguration the Minister of Culture, Pedro Antonio Sánchez;
and the sculptor José Hernández Navarro, who has done so far for this archicofradía three steps.
The family of 'coloraos' also felt sheltered by the president of the Association of Guilds of Holy Week in Murcia, Ramón Sánchez-Parra, and by various presidents and older brothers Murcia pasionarias brotherhoods.
The exhibition will be open with free admission from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 13:30 and 17:00 to 20:00, and on Sundays and holidays, only in morning.
Closed Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays in July and throughout August.
