Notaries and registrars of property should take a more active stance in defense of consumers and users, as reported in a doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Law of the University of Murcia by Venancio Torres Parra.
The research indicates that the degree of protection offered by the law "is very high, although it has shortcomings because of the difficulty of coordinating the same and the tendency of the courts to resolve the problems of consumer relations based solely on the response of the Civil Code. "
The dissertation, which has been rated as outstanding cum laude, is the study, especially the contract of sale of housing.
The author defends the appropriateness of using alternative systems to the courts to resolve problems arising from the consumer buyer and seller of the property.
The research was led by Professor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Murcia embodies Merono Serna.
