Chamber took part today in the ceremony to X Awards Property Development

This year 2014 has begun recording a change of trend in building permits granted by the city, which have grown by 30% over the first quarter of 2013. At that time, 1,033 permits were approved, while this year have been awarded 1,343.

Also the data that concern only new building have been positive developments, an increase of 50%.

In the first three months of 2014, the City Council has approved 99 licenses, compared to 66 in the same period last year.

These figures are known to coincide with the celebration of the Tenth Edition of the Awards for Real Estate Development that took place this morning with the assistance of the Mayor.

The call has been a public acknowledgment of the actions of the real estate industry who have excelled for their architectural or construction quality and design, in addition to providing innovations that can become a reference for future action or represent an added value for the region.

The Mayor has delivered to the licensed architect Luis Clavel award for best performance rehabilitation village, awarded for its achievements in Building San Cristobal, promoted by Alfredo Sancho.

Further distinctions were awarded to:

- Best Residential Building: Building Thames, sponsored by Sons of Paco Lanas.

- Best Performance of Social Housing: Residential Sáez Barceló, Building Ruiz Mercader.

- Best Real Estate Company Performance: Areas of work for the fuzzy headquarters Baraka, Baraka Group promoted.

Furthermore, Apirm has granted two personal awards:

- Commonwealth of honor of Francisco Martínez Azor (Totana) to recognize the outstanding work and career developed by selected partners.

- Special Mention Ujaldón Enrique Benitez, to reward the work done in front of the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia, Murcia promoting the brand as a destination for quality outside and inside our borders and encouraging foreign investment in the field of second residence.
