The Department of Environment of the City of Murcia presents this weekend the last guided tour of the Program for Environmental Information and Sensitisation of the municipality.
The latter route takes place on Sunday 25 and will be for the "Sierra de los Villares".
It is the first time the program of the Department proposes this interesting route that runs through agroforestry landscapes, upland crops, livestock of ancient roads and is framed by the mountains of Villares and Columbares.
The itinerary of 6 kilometers long and low difficulty, allow participants to learn the Special Conservation Area for Birds (SPA) Monte Valley and Sierras de Altaona and Escalona and enjoy this haven for wildlife hiking.
The route will be between 10 and 14 hours, and the host of this activity has been very high, availability having been completed.
In addition, like all weekends and holidays, will remain open Point Environmental Information Majal Blanco, attend visitors who come to the Plaza of the mulberry trees and the environment in the Municipal Forest Park from 9.30 am to 14.30 h., and the new Visitor Center Majal Blanco, in the Nature, Sunday from 9.30 to 14 hours.
From the mulberry Square Tours depart several Small (PR) marked by the city of Murcia in collaboration with the Trails Committee of Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia, so many visitors requiring information to practice hiking autonomously in the area.
It also has a lending binoculars during the opening hours to the public.
The activities of information and environmental awareness are aimed at promoting knowledge about the average local environment, understanding their values ​​and conservation needs and citizen participation in continuous improvement, in a playful and dynamic context.
