The Department of Social Welfare and Health allocated 200,000 euros to subsidize non-profit organizations working for the promotion of groups at risk of social exclusion and volunteering.
The City Council approved the public call for the award of grants.
The projects submitted must be oriented to work with families, seniors, people with disabilities, children and adolescents, Roma, immigrants, associations and volunteer groups at risk of social exclusion and violence.
The goals are to prevent family crisis and breakdown, dependency support, provide training, employment and social integration, prevent violence, encourage volunteerism, promoting multiculturalism, develop social awareness campaigns, improve school performance, avoid absenteeism, etc.
They may request grant non profit organization based in the town of Murcia, they collect in their statutory purposes of conducting activities for any of the groups that are the subject of the call.
The deadline for submitting applications is one month from the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM).
