The need for a new social model, in which both sexes participate on equal terms, to combat gender violence at work has been highlighted by the doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Law, University of Murcia by José María Uris Lloret.
The study, which has obtained excellent cum laude, regrets that few cases are reported, although it is a social problem that causes major work on the health of the female population "very serious" damage .
For the author of the thesis, that under-reporting of these anti-social behavior towards women workers impossible to know exactly the actual number of cases that occur.
This research was led by Professors Francisco Antonio González Díaz and María del Carmen Sánchez Trigueros, both of the University of Murcia.
The tribunal was chaired by Professor Antonio Sempere, recently appointed judge of the Labour Chamber of the Supreme Court.
