The poor educational planning region and city of Murcia, creates a serious problem for teachers, students, parents CEIP New Schools of El Palmar.
The CCOO Federation of Teaching requires the Minister of Education, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, who feel as quickly as possible to solve the problem that has arisen in the construction of the new building that should house the CEIP "New Schools" in the Murcia district of El Palmar.
For several weeks, members of the educational community of the public school, have denounced the suspension of work on the construction of the new building, which if not remedied, would disable the recent pledge by the Director and the Mayor of the city, that the students of El Palmar, normally enjoy, a new Public School Building on this, for the start of the 2015-2016 school year.
It is hardly imaginable that the construction of a public building to a company is granted and the start of construction, whether existing problems with the materials of "Rubbish" which are located on the plot donated by the Chamber to the Autonomous Community and that without add a single brick, the work can become more expensive by 15% of additional cost, from 2.9 to 3.3 million euros.
This show, which has already been given in the region with the IES Ros Giner de Lorca, demonstrates the inability of the Ministry of Education to organize the construction or repair of new schools and at the same time, the negligence of the city of Murcia, the give a plot of 9000 m2, which in theory Business Awardee, is unable to perform the work in the originally estimated cost.
CCOO urges the Department to give all necessary information to the educational community (teachers, parents, residents of El Palmar and social partners), to explain the problem that has arisen, and that the solutions appropriate for the rapid resumption of work in the new building, and that students and families do not deserve your school is closed and barred, the new building was not built, and the students are separated into several different buildings in the hamlet of El Palmar.
From the Federation of Teaching CCOO we fear that this unacceptable delay is a new attack on public education in favor of the concert.
We've been three years since the closure of the old building, students being crammed into different locations.
It would be very enlightening that the purpose of the delay was the transfer of students from public to concerted, given the presence of a school property UCAM locally.
Teaching federation CCOO expresses its full support to the educational community CEIP New Schools, and push all the possible ways to start really works and the photo of the first stone between Sanchez and House, does not become a nightmare for the hundreds of families who rely on the public school and more specifically, in the exceptional faculty CEIP New Schools, a reference center for quality and craftsmanship for decades in El Palmar.
CCOO asks the Lord Adviser, once distributed hierarchical positions in his cabinet, get to work on solving the real problems of education Murcia, including the present one, due to the urgency and seriousness.
