Educatio XXI Century magazine, published by the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia and directed by Professor Javier Ballesta, has devoted special issue the corresponding number to the first quarter of 2014 to the study of emotional phenomena of physical education within playful contexts .
The six items comprising the monographic section, coordinated by professors of that faculty Yuste and Juan Luis José Ignacio Alonso, provide scientific evidence to support the professional physical education to intervene from an emotional perspective while driving.
The living, the discovery of oneself and of others or the motor experiences that trigger motor games are some of the aspects of this highly topical subject addressed in this issue.
The case stands on its findings that rigorous knowledge of the activities planned for children in PE class must go beyond the technical implementation, taking into account the stream of life experiences that occur in it.
The publication is completed with seven items, plus eight specialized reviews of new books.
The next special issue of Educatio, which expands its periodicity to the months of March, July and November will be dedicated to "thinking, learning and performance: a cognitive approach."
"We extend the intervals and will continue supporting editing special issues and internationalization of the collaborations," says the director.
