Mayor Closing morning at 20 am the first day
The largest of the social centers of the City will be the stars of the Romea Theatre tomorrow and Wednesday.
During the evenings of 17 to 20 hours, will take the stage to celebrate the XI Theatre Festival, organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Health.
The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, accompanied by Councilwoman Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, will close the day on Tuesday, at 20 am, and will be given to participants commemorative plates.
In this sample XI have registered partners participating in theater courses that develop in the network of municipal centers.
Specifically, the groups will take the stage centers Azarbe Shore, Bacons Bridge, St. Pius X, Santiago and Zaraíche, Stables and La Alberca.
A total of 15 theater groups that operate continuously in the centers.
Of these, the Department funds the activity in 12: Five working in this eleventh edition, plus Algezares, Los Dolores, Llano de Brujas, Monteagudo, Puebla de Soto, Rincón de Seca and San Juan-Santa Eulalia.
Three other centers are also groups but funded by own budgets: La Alberca (participant in the sample), San Miguel and La Cueva.
Fleet Partners also have this activity, but sporadically.
For years the theater courses have become one of the activities supported by the Social Centres for the Elderly that request, along with other courses that promote active aging, healthy leisure, culture, social participation, etc. .. This is an activity that provides interesting benefits as it requires a great effort by the elderly, by perseverance in trials, memorization, costumes, etc..
