The director general of Instituto Murciano Seniors Social Action (IMAS), Enrique Pérez, delivery tomorrow, Monday, May 5, in Murcia (at 12:30 pm in the Health Center of the Rane) diplomas Workshop on Education for Health 'The Art of caring' in which 13 people from senior center social Murcia II IMAS participated.
This workshop, organized between professionals Murciano Health Service (SMS), the Department of Health VI-Vega Media, and IMAS celebrates its fourth edition and its purpose is to improve the quality of life of citizens in promoting any stage healthy lifestyles.
It is an initiative aimed at all users of the public health network that they are in a situation of psychological distress, such as for example the caregivers of dependent persons, those in mourning processes or who are in risk contexts socio- family, among others.
The project 'The Art of caring' is developed in collaboration with health professionals and Social Services City of Murcia and its programming consists of 16 sessions lasting approximately two hours each.
The sessions, held at the Health Center of the Rane, were conducted in groups to encourage participation from the psycho-geriatric education and learning to deal with a particular situation or life cycle.
Each session has three sections.
The first of these sections is only for the transmission of content of psycho-socio-health professionals, the second is dedicated to the assimilation of content and expression of feelings and the third is directed to the use and correct use of relaxation techniques.
