National and regional experts will visit the Campus Jeronimos II on the occasion of the National Day Care for Victims of Domestic Violence
In order to shed light on one of the most important problems that society faces everyday, the Catholic University of Murcia and the Government Office Region organized on Monday 5 May, the second edition of the Day National Care of Victims of Domestic Violence, to be held in the Temple of the Monastery of Jeronimos Campus.
National and regional experts will meet throughout the day to give a series of lectures and panel discussions, among them Belén Ordóñez, head of the Office of Crime Victims Assistance Ministry of Justice;
Piedad Párraga, Inspector of the National Police;
Carlos Astrain, lieutenant of the Civil Guard and Team Leader of Women and Children;
María Gracia Adánez responsible Protocol Gender Violence Virgin Arrixaca University Hospital and professor of Nursing UCAM;
Laura Miñano, president of the Association of Women Victims of Domestic Violence;
or Veronica Lopez, CEO of Social Policy.
The conference will be opened by Josefina Garcia, rector of the UCAM;
Joaquín Bascuñana, government delegate in Murcia;
by Catalina Lorenzo, Minister of Health and Social Policy;
and José María Caballero, assistant dean of the Degree in Criminology at the Catholic University of Murcia.
