Thanks to an agreement with the owner, the crib is exposed for a year Salzillo
The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, visited this morning the new installation of the Neapolitan crib García Castro brothers, considered one of the finest of its kind in Spain, and will remain a year thanks to Salzillo Museum collaboration agreement with the city of Murcia which will display in one of the rooms of the institution.
The Mayor was accompanied on his visit by the President of the Brotherhood of Jesus, Antonio Gómez FAYREN;
Salzillo Museum director Maria Teresa Marín;
and the Councillor for Culture, Rafael Gomez.
House has stressed that it is the largest private collection of Spain which, along with the March Foundation in Palma de Mallorca, the Certosa of San Martino, Naples, and Bavarian National Museum in Munich, are considered as the best cribs in the world of its kind.
It is composed over six hundred pieces that have been collected during a lifetime, by Emilio and Carmelo García Márquez Castro brothers.
