The Catholic University of Murcia held in collaboration with the Seneca Foundation, the Second International Conference of Personal Development, in which various experts shared with students, teachers and researchers their experiences in disciplines related to the person skilled in research.

"The topics covered in this conference, as values ​​education or emotional intelligence, are aimed at making a more humane and just society," said Estrella Nunez, Vice President for Research UCAM, during the inauguration.

Emotional Intelligence

Specifically, the Second International Conference of Personal Development offered the audience several conferences and round tables related to cooperative learning, multiculturalism, the benefits of natures or emotional intelligence in education and health.

In this sense, Paloma Sánchez, coordinator of the panel discussion on the subject and external member of the research group 'Personal Development' UCAM, said that "we are all born with an extraordinary capacity for creativity and emotions, but only use a small part of them ", while stressing the importance of emotional intelligence in decision making.

The Second International Conference of Personal Development completed on 9 May with a lecture that the professor of the Faculty of Sport, University of Porto, Rui Proenca, offered in the UCAM.
