The rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, today expressed concern over the lack of resources for reading assertive statement of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), which was presented simultaneously in all these institutions teachers.

The manifesto, which was read by the Vice President for Coordination and Communication, María Ángeles Esteban, on behalf of the governing team, states that "the guiding considered painful and difficult to justify, its minimal economic impact, measures affecting young people. "

And he adds that "the increase in public grades and prices, far above them, the masters, affects the educational possibilities of young people in a particularly bad time for employment."

According to the rectors of the Spanish universities, "public tuition fees in universities must be accessible and reasonable in all levels of education, it being necessary to recover the sense of scholarship and acute as guarantors of fairness."

On the other hand, call for more support for research and innovation, "to return to a growth path based on the knowledge and smart and sustainable specialization to avoid the loss of talent and take the training provided."

A presentation of the manifesto has attended the former rector of the University of Cantabria and presidents of CRUE, Federico Gutiérrez-Solana, located in Murcia today to deliver a lecture on the campus of Espinardo.

Gutiérrez-Solana explained that "you're missing the future of this country, with researchers who have to go outside of Spain to find work, if you really want to have good universities, the first thing to do is work for it ".
