The Mexican Olympic Committee has joined the project of San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) and the Spanish Olympic Committee for Mexican athletes who wish to study while maintaining the pace of training and competitions.
This agreement has already been signed by several Olympic committees in Latin America and has the support of the International Olympic Committee.
After signing the agreement, the President of the Mexican Olympic Committee, Carlos Padilla Becerra, the leader of the COE, Alejandro Blanco, emphasized that this initiative can be a turning point in the world of sports: "The big concern is to help athletes in their training. should be together to seek the complicity of universities and help them. "
The agreement also includes symposia and training courses in which teachers, coaches and athletes to participate and exchange experiences and impressions.
Research in the area of ​​sport and Olympism, with scholarships and grants, is one of the key aspects of this agreement.
