The Ministry of Health and Social Policy and the Association of Murcia Sardinera met today nearly one hundred children in the VII Meeting of Sardines, held, as is traditional, in the schoolyard San Buenaventura (Capuchin Murcia).
This initiative, which was launched in 2008, allows children who are protected by the regional administration and living in different centers run by the Community or are awed by Murcia families enjoy the Burial of the Sardine.
The Minister Catalina Lorenzo, accompanied by the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, welcomed "rooting" this act "has the programming of all the Spring Festival of the City of Murcia", and that allows minors received by the Autonomous Region Party live like the rest of Murcia children.
Lorenzo was delighted with the work they have done prior shelters for making the costumes of children, representing different mythologies recreated by sardine groups: Selene, Aphrodite, Ceres, Momo, Cupid, Ulysses, Hercules and Centaur .
The Minister welcomed the involvement of all workers in the centers and host families in this initiative, and the cooperation of the City of Murcia and the school where it is celebrated for seven years.

Sardines In Meeting 2014 included eight juvenile facilities, as well as lower the Temporary Foster Care (Acofamt) and the Kangaroo program.
The children paraded through the school yard, accompanied by groups and troupes invited by the Association Sardinera, and those who joined the Big Fish, the singer Xuso Jones.
The participating centers were under the Residence Santo Ángel, with 15 children, who marched as Selene group;
Cardinal Belluga with six children who did Hercules;
Centre of Baden, which was attended by 12 children who represented the group Aphrodite;
10 under Mother Paula paraded as Ulysses;
Momo the 19 participants represented the residence Leyva;
Cupid the six who came from the Children's Home of Cartagena, Ceres 14 under New Future, while the eight foster children in Santa Cruz center incarnated to Centauro.
Also took part in the festival, six children from the Temporary Foster Care and Babysitting Child Community.
