Two female tunas are today one of the protagonists in the XXVII International Tuna Competition Costa Calida second day of competition which takes place tonight at 21:30 at the San Basilio pergola and will feature a visit from the Queen of the Garden and his court.
The first act will be The tuna in Tunina a estudiantina coming from Eindhoven and composed by women.
This Dutch tuna touches typical Spanish estudiantinas instruments like guitar and lute and even dare to sing in Castilian.
The other female tuna participating in the competition tonight is the law of Alicante, formed in 1989 after nine of its founders spend one year as a rookie male tuna.
