The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, participated this morning in the formal launch of a new brotherhood of Gloria that from next year, will begin in the Easter parade in the neighborhood of San José, in the hamlet of Los Garres.
The new institution will parade in his two sizes, were blessed yesterday at a Mass Campaign, representing the risen Christ and the Virgin Glorious.
The size of the Risen cedar is a work of sculptor José Hernández Navarro, life size and showing Christ blessing.
Both images have staged an emotional meeting in the village, where hundreds of worshipers gathered to celebrate this new addition to Easter.
The ceremony was also attended by the sculptor Hernádnez Navarro and Councilman Works, José Arce, among other authorities.
