The Municipal Socialist Group today abstained from voting when the new ordinance of Environmental Protection against the emission of noise and vibration passed today by the Governing Board because "many of us fear that it will be difficult to implement and will not solve the problems of coexistence. "
In this sense, the Socialist spokesman, Pedro López, recalled that the local government has been forced to amend the ordinance by public pressure, as during recent years has been a lot of leeway with this topic.
Lopez returns to defend a Covenant for Coexistence in which these entrepreneurs affected by noise, users of the entertainment and political groups that are part of the corporation for the sole purpose of reconciling in a real way interests are neighbors and hotel and end the problems of understanding who have not completed following approval of the ordinance.
From the beginning of the term socialist spokesman recalls have been advocating the importance of dialogue and agreement on municipal matters of significance, as is the case in which are involved the local economy, residents affected by noise from bars and restaurants, and users of these entertainment.
"It is essential to reach a real agreement if we want to continue bringing neighbors such problems to the courts, as has happened so far," he concludes.
