The newly renovated Avenue Marqués de los Vélez is the first in which the City has reduced road marking paint.
The Department of Traffic and Transportation has three marked crosswalks this avenue (the three on-line traffic lights and stopping cars) painting only the beginning and end of the tick lines
This would also reduce spending in painting and maintenance, remove items from the road that can be dangerous for motorcycles and bicycles as they cause slips caused by dirt and debris from fuel and oil from other vehicles intended
This performance will take place on the steps of zebra signalized streets that are resurfaced.
This saves about 20% on the cost to paint it in its entirety.
