Councilman Traffic and Transportation, Javier Iniesta, met this week with representatives of the various professional associations taxi to set a date for the constitution of the board of elections to select their ten representatives in the Taxi Sector Roundtable sector.

This election will be the next meeting on April 24 and it will be decided deadlines for nominations and other issues related to the electoral process.

In addition, a proposal the City Council, will be used on election day to make a voluntary, non-binding vote, in order to know if the taxi drivers consider it necessary to implement more measures to regulate the conference.

The ten representatives of professional associations, along with the city, establish the mode of incorporation of the two representatives of employees, so proceed with the establishment of the Taxi Sector Board, which is the organ of consultation between taxi drivers and Hall to formalize information processes and agreements hearing of the taxi industry.
