Councillor for the Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, participated this afternoon in the conference on noise and health, organized by the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of the municipality of Murcia, was held in the Auditorium Annex Building at Murcia City Hall.
Martinez-Cache has said that the new draft of the new noise ordinance, which has received approval this morning of the Governing Board of the City of Murcia, is based on the analysis and discussion among all stakeholders, as have taken into account all the views and suggestions presented.
"Murcia needed a new ordinance that would allow the ring to establish a new way of establishing the possibilities of coexistence between, for example, the noise of leisure and relaxation and well-being of the residents," said the head of the Environment, who also stressed that the new ordinance is an important step for Murcia Murcia and in health.
The conference on noise pollution has also had the participation of neighbors who have exposed their personal experiences on the environmental noise.
The dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Miguel Fernández-Marín Villacañas, has been commissioned to present the following papers:
- "The sound of nature and the health of children" is the title of the presentation given by Dr. of Medicine and Head of the Pediatric Environmental Health Unit of the Hospital Virgen de Murcia Arrixaca.
- The paper "Noise and its effects on health" has been submitted by the specialist doctor of Medicine and head of the Cabinet noise Audiology, José Luis Cebrian Casas.
