The Sime this morning, in the campaign initiated by unions representing local police nationwide, a proposal to different local groups of the City of Murcia, with the aim of submitting a motion in Parliament to urge the Federation Municipalities and Provinces, the Ministry of Social Security and the Directorate General of the Management of Social Security to propose to the Congress of Deputies legislative amendment on Social Security to allow the advancement of the retirement age of Local Police through the adoption of a series of measures:
1st -. Recognition of the profession of local police as risk profession, ending the injustice of a retirement age that does not take into account the functional age, and the impact on processes incapacity generating and requirements required for the development of policing.
2nd -. Incorporating collective local police the group of professionals that are implementing the reduction coefficients in the retirement age, in the same conditions as provided for in the additional provision forty-seventh Legislative Royal Decree 1/1994 of June 20, approving the revised text of the General Law on Social Security "was adopted.
On Wednesday at 12:30 SIME plans to meet with all local groups to explain the proposal and that this motion is filed in the full City Council.
