A team from the Debate Club of the University of Murcia, led by law professor Luis Galvez, has reached third place in the National League VI Debate organized by the Carlos III University of Madrid.

The group was formed by students Carlos Lanzon Victoria, Veronica Salinas Perea, Jesus Rodriguez and Pilar Rodríguez Díaz Losantos, the latter also won the award for the second best speaker.

Next July, the Pilar herself, who is president of the Debate Club, and another student, Sergio Melero, representing the University of Murcia in the World Debating Championship to be held in Mexico.
