The University of Murcia today failed Poetry Prize XIII Denise Garcia of the educational institution, which went to Angel Manuel Gómez Swords.
The winner receives prize check, worth 1,500 euros, from the hands of the poet Denise Garcia, who gives name to the award, and the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho.
During the event, held at the rectory, spoke jury chairman, Professor of Spanish Literature Francisco Javier Díez de Revenga, who explained the literary values ​​of the winning entry.
In the same act, the Vice President for University Extension, Mercedes Farias, presented the foundations of XIV call, which will be open until July 30.
The Dionisia García Poetry Prize is sponsored by the Foundation Cajamurcia.
