The Catholic University of Murcia and FAMDIF, the Federation of Associations Murcianas People with Physical and Organic, collaborate for the promotion of education, employment and accessibility for people with disabilities working with FAMDIF, under a agreement signed by the two institutions and under which will place various seminars, lectures and technical workshops, and research and specialized training programs.
"We want to reach the general public the importance of accessibility for disabled people," said Carmen Gil, president of FAMDIF.
The UCAM and FAMDIF further develop different seminars free configuration, in which the associations forming the federation will present their needs in order to find common ground working to promote solutions and establish lines of collaboration in addition to reporting and advise students about the realities facing these groups.
The partnership also includes the possibility that college students perform UCAM practices FAMDIF centers or associations that compose it.
"Once again we approach the gates of the UCAM and we open wide", thanked Carmen Gil.
