The Municipal Socialist Group shows its support for the just demands of parents of students in the Virgin of Guadalupe CEIP today have demonstrated against overcrowding and technical deficiencies of the school.
So, the mayor Susana Hernandez recalled that since the beginning of term both PSOE in the city and the Municipal Board has continued to denounce the precarious conditions in which this school is located.
Hernandez recalls that the school has grown from 400 students in 2007 to 750 in 2014, of which more than a hundred, belonging to the stage of nursery and primary, are grouped in prefabricated barracks that are used as classrooms since 2008 .
The location of this center ensures socialist councilor is exacerbated because it has no primary sports pavilion, library, music room and teachers.
It continues Hernandez, the school canteen welcomes 212 students in an area of ​​86 m2 divided into two shifts, so they are in breach of the minimum requirements of the regulations.
The Socialists also denounce broken promises by the PP.
"They promised a new school since 2008 and now we come with an extension of the primary flag and dining room, all it does is further deteriorate public education" laments Susana Hernández.
