The Department of Social Welfare and Health organizes free training workshops for families with children at social risk.
It is a performance that takes place from the Municipal Social Services Centre Murcia Sur in order to prevent risk to which children look doomed by the circumstances surrounding his family life.
The workshops are designed for parents and kindergarten service is offered for children.
This year courses are provided in the Field of Murcia, Torreagüera and Stables, attended by 100 parents and 35 children in the playgrounds.
Last year Torreagüera courses, El Palmar, Los Rosales attended by 111 parents and 35 children were held.
Basic information is offered to families on cognitive and personality development in different developmental stages of children, as well as the characteristics of typical behavior of each stage in the courses: communication problems, behavior, social behavior, sexual behavior, motivational, educational standards, etc..
And themes of the family sphere: overprotection, family stress and crisis.
Families acquire knowledge, social skills and communication, which facilitate the practice of negotiating conflicts between parents and children and family relationships in general.
Workshops are theoretical and practical sessions spread over four sessions lasting two hours weekly.
