The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, as a member of the Honorary Committee of the call, inaugurated this morning the III International Congress of Autism, a meeting organized by the Center for Integral Formation Gabriel Pérez Jail.
The ceremony was also attended by the Chief Minister, Joaquín Bascuñana, and the Minister of Education, Universities and Employment, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.
This initiative, which brings together leading experts in Murcia, aims to provide a forum for discussion and professional, health, educational and social services, and families, to allow broadcast and share their knowledge, experience and research on students with disorders Autism Spectrum.
Speakers include Simon Baron-Cohen, professor of developmental psychopathology at the University of Cambridge, Rita Jordan, Professor Emeritus of the Autism Centre for Education & Research, University of Birmingham, Gerardo Herrera, President of the Foundation ADAPTA; Josep Artigas, Head of Unit of the Hospital de Sabadell Neuropediatría alongside teachers Jail Gabriel Pérez center, Cristina Orenes, Inmaculada Mena, Marina Algarra, Gustavo Adolfo Amorós, Maite Mateo, Nuria Martínez Conesa and Shell, among others.
