La Casa Cuna Annunciation morning meets Saturday, March 22, its third anniversary.
This house, owned by the Diocese of Cartagena is located in the village of Murcia Sucina and is staffed by the Sisters of the Annunciation who live with the women welcomed.
Also working on this project different volunteers: a psychologist, several educators and social worker.
Its objectives are to support mothers in situations of social exclusion that have young children, provide the necessary assistance to as many pregnant women at risk of abortion, as required; support women suffering from post-abortion syndrome, organize actions aimed to raise awareness and educate the public about the respect for life and the dignity of women, as well as work in the familiar environment of pregnant women or mothers with young children to facilitate their integration into society.
La Casa Cuna also manages the Center for Child Care, in operation since 2011 and caters for children of mothers welcomed, children with difficulties and provides a daycare and training environment Sucina.
Just last year, 32 children attended this school needs 1,000 euros per month to cover all needs.
As a diocesan project needs everyone's help to be able to carry on their work, so from the Casa Cuna Annunciation ask all the faithful of the Diocese: prayer for this cause, help to make it known so we can serve more women and children volunteers to spend some of their free time to help with various tasks time, and of course, financial aid, as to cover all expenses needed about 4,500 euros per month.
