The Temple of Jeronimos Monastery hosted the midday closing of the First International Conference on Prevention of Injury in Sport.
The director of the Department of Education and Research Isokinetic Medical Group, Giulio Sergio Roi, gave the closing lecture in which he lectured on the importance of correctly completing the recovery process to injury.
The doctor emphasized that due to advances in surgery, the early stages of injury recovery are very good, and emphasized the need to maintain the right at the end of this time.
"There are many athletes who do not get a perfect recovery because once you reach the end of the phase, the return is timely, and we need a long time at the end to finish recovering properly."
Similarly, Giulio Sergio Roi, said that when talking about recovery think early entry into the competition, but not in life the athlete will complete this step once.
"The overload and failure to pay a full recovery when it reaches the athletes 40-45 years, because it has not healed well when I had to heal. And so we have to consider not only the competition, but the individual himself, and what happens when you leave the sports world. "
