Over two hundred thousand children at risk of social exclusion are engaged in tutoring, recreation and leisure organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Health.
The City Council has given its approval to an investment of about 162,000 euros for various projects to be undertaken this year.
Key initiatives include activities with children and adolescents in neighborhoods and districts of the town, socio projects, tutoring, support less at risk of social exclusion summer schools and camps, celebration under dates such as Carnival, Parties Spring, local festivals, etc..
As well as providing school supplies and transportation vouchers to those children and adolescents who need it.
The main objective is that children receive proper care and prevention of social exclusion.
Likewise, the City Council approved the program to promote social volunteering, social participation and self-help of the Municipal Social Services Centre North Murcia, with an investment of 12,000 euros.
It is a kind of bench while promoting volunteerism and service exchange between different people.
